All construction in the Village shall comply with the requirements
of Sections 319.200 through 319.207, RSMo., and any amendments thereto,
relating to earthquakes and seismic construction requirements.

A.
Certain documents, a copy of which is on file at the office of the
Village Clerk of the Village of Kingdom City, Missouri, being marked
and designated as International Plumbing Code, including Appendix
Chapters, as published by the International Code Council, be and is
hereby adopted as the Code of the Village of Kingdom City, Missouri,
for regulating the design, construction, quality of materials, erection,
installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement,
addition to, use or maintenance of plumbing systems in the Village
of Kingdom City, Missouri, and providing for the issuance of permits
and collection fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations,
provisions, conditions, and terms of such International Plumbing Code,
1997 Edition, published by the International Code Council and filed
in the office of the Village Clerk of Kingdom City, Missouri, are
hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set
out in this Section.
B.
The following sections are hereby revised:
1.
Section 101.1: Village of Kingdom City, Missouri.
2.
Section 106.5.2: See Exhibit A attached.
3.
Section 106.5.3: fifty percent (50%) in paragraph 2 and fifty
percent (50%) in paragraph 3.
4.
Section 108.4: ordinance violation, five hundred dollars ($500.00),
ninety (90) days.
5.
Section 108.5: one hundred dollars ($100.00); one thousand dollars
($1,000.00).
6.
Section 305.6.1: twenty-four (24) inches in two (2) locations.
7.
Section 904.1; ten (10) inches.
C.
Violations
And Penalties.
1.
For any violation of the code adopted hereby, the violator, upon
conviction, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred
dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment in the Village or County Jail
not exceeding ninety (90) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
Every day any violation shall continue shall constitute a separate
offense.
2.
Whenever any act is prohibited by the code adopted hereby, by an
amendment thereof, or by any rule or regulation adopted there under,
such prohibition shall extend to and include the causing, securing,
aiding, or abetting of another person to do said act. Whenever any
act is prohibited by the code adopted hereby, an attempt to do the
act is likewise prohibited.
3.
Equitable Relief. In addition to any other remedies or penalties
established for violations the code adopted hereby, or any rule, regulation,
notice, condition, term or order promulgated by any officer or agency
of the Village under duly vested authority, the Village Official responsible
for the enforcement of the code adopted hereby, rule, regulation,
notice, condition, term or order may, on behalf of the Village and
after approval by the Board of Trustees, apply to a court of competent
jurisdiction for such legal or equitable relief as may be necessary
to enforce compliance with the code or rule, regulation, notice, condition,
term or order. In such action the court may grant such legal or equitable
relief, including, but not limited to, mandatory or prohibitory injunctive
relief, as the facts may warrant. Upon the successful prosecution
of any such action the Village may be awarded by the court reasonable
attorney fees as allowed by law.
