[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Lancaster 5-3-1971 by Ord. No. 21; amended in its entirety at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1 General Provisions, Art. I). Subsequent amendments noted where applicable.]
The Board of Supervisors of Lancaster Township shall appoint a Township Planning Commission in accordance with Article II of the Act of July 31, 1968, the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, 53 P.S. §§ 10201, 10202, 10203 and 10205, and the amendments and supplements presently existing and that may hereafter be made, conferring upon said Commission all the powers and authority as outlined in said Act; consisting of seven persons who shall serve for a term of four years, except that the terms of the members first appointed to be as follows: One member of the first Commission shall be appointed for one year, one member for two years, one member for three years, and two members for four years, and thereafter, all terms shall be for four years.
