There shall be created a trust fund that shall be named the
"Lyme Cemeteries Trust Fund."
The trust fund shall be managed by the Treasurer of the Town
of Lyme.

The purpose of the trust fund shall be to accumulate principal
and interest and utilize fund assets to maintain, expand and operate
all cemeteries under Town jurisdiction within the Town of Lyme.

The Trust Fund shall be funded by direct grant, gift or donation,
sale of plots or revenue from its own operation. The Treasurer of
the Town of Lyme shall invest principal of the trust fund as by law
required for the investment of trust funds, except in instances where
explicitly authorized by donors. The fund assets of the aforementioned
trust fund shall be expended for the maintenance, expansion and operation
of all cemeteries under Town jurisdiction within the Town of Lyme
as required from time to time.

It shall be the responsibility of the Lyme Cemetery Commission
and the Board of Selectmen to direct disbursement, as they deem necessary,
of said funds for the purposes set forth herein.
