There shall be six Trustees and a President of the Village of Whitefish Bay. Two trustees shall be elected at each annual spring election for a term of three years commencing on the third Tuesday of April in the year of their election. The President shall be elected every third year at the annual spring election for a term of three years, commencing on the third Tuesday of April in the year of election.

A. 
Creation. Pursuant to the authority granted by § 755.01, Wis. Stats., and Ch. 755, Wis. Stats., there is hereby established the Municipal Court for the Village.
B. 
Office of Municipal Judge created. Pursuant to the authority granted by § 755.01, Wis. Stats., there is hereby created the office of Municipal Judge of the Municipal Court for the Village.
C. 
Salary of Municipal Judge. The Municipal Judge shall receive a salary as may be fixed from time to time by the Village Board pursuant to § 755.04, Wis. Stats., which shall be in lieu of fees and costs. The Village shall obtain insurance pursuant to § 755.02, Wis. Stats., in an amount satisfactory in the sole discretion of the Village Board.
D. 
Procedure.
(1) 
The Municipal Court shall be open as determined by order of the Municipal Judge.
(2) 
The Municipal Judge shall keep his office and hold court in the Village Hall.
(3) 
The procedure in the Municipal Court shall be as provided by this section and state law, including, but not excluding because of enumeration, Wis. Stats. Chs. 66, 755 and 800.
E. 
Motions fee. Upon the amendment, dismissal or vacation of any pleading, complaint or citation in Municipal Court, there shall be assessed upon the party to whom the pleading or citation applies, a motion fee in an amount set forth by the Village Board from time to time.
Candidates for elective Village offices shall be nominated by a nonpartisan primary conducted according to Chapter 8, Wisconsin Statutes, so far as applicable.[1]
