[Adopted as Secs. 15.01 through 15.03 of the Codification]
No person or persons shall exhibit to public view for gain within
this Village any animal, wax or other figures, paintings, feats, vaudeville,
theatrical or moving picture exhibition, or operate any circus, shooting
gallery, carousel, bowling alley or any other show, exhibition or
operation without being first duly licensed so to do by the Village
Board on such terms as it may prescribe.
The Board of Health of the Village is authorized and empowered
to make reasonable and general rules for the sanitary conduct and
maintenance of all places of business operating in the Village under
a permit.
The Village Board may, upon reasonable notice to the licensee
by registered mail addressed to his last known address, revoke any
license given pursuant to this chapter for cause, following a hearing
before the Village Board, such cause to include, among other things,
violation by the holder of such license, his agents or servants in
the conduct of said business of any State law, Village ordinance or
rule or regulation of the Village Board or Board of Health.
