§ 1-401 Rates of Compensation for Tax Collector.

1. The rates of compensation for the Douglass Township, Tax Collector shall be as follows:

A. Starting January 1, 1994, and thereafter:

(1) Four percent commission on discount and flat rate real property taxes collected.

(2) Five percent commission on delinquent real property taxes collected.

§ 1-402 Limit on Rate of Compensation.

The rate of compensation as set forth above shall not exceed the legally allowed rate by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania pursuant to the Second Class Township Code, 53 P.S. § 6501 et seq., the Local Tax Collection Law, 72 P.S. § 5511.1 et seq., or any other law or regulation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
