A. 
In accordance with C.G.S. § 9-15a, as amended, the Middletown Board for Admissions of Electors shall consist of the Town Clerk and the Registrar of Voters.
B. 
The Middletown Board for Admissions of Electors shall hear appeals on the right of a person to be, or remain, an Elector in accordance with C.G.S. § 9-31l, as amended. If a person is appealing the decision of a Registrar, then that Registrar shall designate a replacement for the hearing in accordance with C.G.S. § 9-15a(b), as amended.

The City shall be divided into 12 voting districts for all state and municipal elections. The 12 voting districts shall be as set forth on a certain map entitled "City of Middletown 2022 Plan of Redistricting, March 22, 2022," which map shall be on file and available for public inspection in the offices of the Town Clerk and the Registrars of Voters and online on the City of Middletown's website. The district map was adopted by the Common Council on May 10, 2022. All voting districts are from the middle of the street unless portions of the street are entirely within the voting district as indicated on said map.
For municipal special elections and referenda, the City may be divided into fewer districts than set forth on the map identified in § 36-2. Under such circumstances, the Common Council shall review and approve these districts in advance and set them via resolution.
