Borough of Washington, NJ Article XVIII Delineated On-Street Parking on One-Way Streets

§ 85-81 Purpose.

Where deemed necessary, the Borough shall, after conducting a survey of the street in conjunction with the Borough Manager, the Public Works Superintendent, and the Chief of Police, delineate parking spaces for the purposes of ensuring orderly parking of vehicles. Such parking spaces shall be delineated by white lines extending eight feet from the curbline toward the center line of the street. Parking spaces shall be at least 19 feet in length but not more than 22 feet in length.

§ 85-83 Violations and penalties.

Vehicles parked outside of official parking spaces delineated by the Borough of Washington on any street listed in the Schedule of Delineated-Parking Streets herein will be subject to ticketing and/or towing in accordance with §§ 85-63 and 85-64 of the Code of the Borough of Washington.
