Applicants for licenses and permits to carry on the following
occupations or perform the following services or to use buildings
or property of the City of Plattsburgh, New York, are required to
provide insurance for bodily injury and property damage in amounts
specified by resolution of the Common Council and to maintain the
same during the period of each license or permit:
All insurance policies shall be in comprehensive form and shall
name the City of Plattsburgh as an additional insured.[1]
Nothing contained in this article shall be deemed or construed
to amend leases and contracts of the City of Plattsburgh heretofore
or hereafter executed.

The Common Council may, by resolution, duly adopt or amend the
amounts and types of insurance required for applicants for licenses
and permits and provide by resolution for the types and amounts of
insurance required for other occupations or services or for the use
of property of the City of Plattsburgh, New York.
