A. 
Minimum service line shall be 3/4 inch.
B. 
Copper service tubing shall conform to the requirements of ASTM designation B-88 and be Type K heavy wall, soft temper copper.
C. 
Polyethylene service tubing shall be CTS-DR9 high density 200 PSI HDPE.
D. 
Corporation stops shall be Ford F1100 or approved equal.
E. 
Curb stops shall be Ford B44-33 or approved equal.
F. 
Curb boxes shall be Tyler 6500 or approved equal.
G. 
Service clamps shall be double strap and tapped 3/4-inch NPT CC thread.
H. 
Cover of at least four feet shall be maintained.
I. 
Service inside the building shall have the following:
(1) 
Three-quarter-inch ball valve.
(2) 
Radio read meter.
(3) 
Pressure-reducing valve. For water service system sizes up to and including two inches, a device for controlling pressure shall be installed where, because of thermal expansion, the pressure on the downstream side of a pressure-reducing valve exceeds the pressure-reducer valve setting.
(4) 
Dual check valve. Where a backflow prevention device is installed on a water supply system using storage water heating equipment such that thermal expansion causes an increase in pressure, a device for controlling pressure shall be installed.
(5) 
Three-quarter-inch ball valve.
(6) 
Expansion tank must be installed in system (UCC required).
J. 
Curb boxes shall be made visible and are the responsibility of the property owner to keep in good working condition.
K. 
Meter pit.
(1) 
Mueller/McCullough thermal-coil meter box, 5/8 inch by 3/4 inch stop and check angle.
(2) 
Diameter of 15 inches.
(3) 
Fifteen-inch-by-four-inch meter pit insulation pad.
(4) 
Fifteen-inch pit lid with Neptune radio hole.
L. 
The Authority reserves the exclusive right to determine where the meter will be installed.
M. 
All meters and radio read units must be purchased from the operator of the system.
N. 
A meter must be installed and inspected at each property before water is turned on. Radio read units must be installed on the front of the house or on the same side as the electric meter at least four feet from ground level.
O. 
When it is determined that a pit must be used, the meter pit must be installed with the pit meter and R-900 radio MIUS. The pit location will be determined by the operator of the system.
All PVS gravity sewer pipe shall conform to the requirements of the latest version of ASTM specification, 3033 or 3034 PVC sewer pipe and fittings.

A test tee must be installed at the start of the property line.

One dual direction cleanout is to be installed on the sewer lateral directly outside of the building. Additional cleanouts are required after every change of direction over a forty-five-degree angle and every 75 feet of lateral installed.
H. 
(All work and material must be inspected prior to be covered.) Inspection done by the Township-approved inspectors and must be done Monday through Friday. A minimum of at least 48 hours must be given.
I. 
This includes water from all sources/other suppliers/private wells, now in effect or may be in effect in the future for the purpose of establishing metered sewer rates based on water consumption for metered water customers and for nonmetered water customers charging at a flat rate (rates, rules and regulations).
The Township shall not be liable for any damage resulting from leaks, broken pipes or from any other cause, occurring to or within any house or building, or between the curb and any house or building. It is expressly stipulated by and between the Township and the property owners that no claim shall be made against the Township on account of bursting lines or breaking of any water mains, sewer line or connection of any attachment to the water and sewer system.
