The rules and regulations as set forth herein shall apply to
all Township parks, including but not limited to Community Park (Lake
Road and Twenty Mile Creek), Freeport Beach (Freeport Road at Lake
Erie), and Gravel Pit Park (West Main Road).
All Township parks shall be open from 1/2 hour before sunrise
until 1/2 hour after sunset, during which time they may be used for
all authorized and appropriate purposes.
All Township parks shall be closed from 1/2 hour after sunset
until 1/2 hour prior to sunrise the following day, during which time
the parks may not be utilized for any purposes.
Signs setting forth the hours during which the parks may be
utilized shall be erected at each park entrance.
No person shall be permitted to operate any motorized vehicles
of any type, including but not limited to automobiles, trucks, motorbikes
and motorcycles, within the boundaries of the park, except upon roadways
and parking areas clearly identified for such use.
No person shall be permitted to operate any motorized all-terrain
vehicle within the boundaries of the parks, excepting authorized vehicles.
No person shall dispose of garbage or waste materials at the
parks except in containers provided for such purpose. No person shall
dump or dispose of any garbage or waste materials not generated at
the park.
No person shall possess or consume beer, wine, liquor, or any
other alcoholic beverage within the boundaries of the Township parks.
The rules and regulations established herein may be waived or
varied for special occasions or activities upon motion and approval
thereof by the Board of Supervisors, and closing times for activities
or uses authorized may be waived or varied by the appropriate organization
scheduling activities at Gravel Pit Park, currently Fuller Hose Company.

Any person who violates or permits a violation of this article
shall, upon conviction in a summary proceeding brought before a Magisterial
District Judge under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure,
be guilty of a summary offense and shall be punishable by a fine of
not less than $100 nor more than $1,000, plus costs of prosecution.
In default of payment thereof, the defendant may be sentenced to imprisonment
for a term not exceeding 90 days. Each day or portion thereof that
such violation continues or is permitted to continue shall constitute
a separate offense, and each section of this article that is violated
shall also constitute a separate offense.
