A. 
The Municipal Engineer or his municipal assignee shall inspect all phases of the installation of the permanent stormwater management facilities and BMPs.
B. 
During any stage of the work, if the Municipal Engineer determines that the permanent stormwater management facilities and BMPs are not being installed in accordance with this chapter, the Township shall revoke any existing permits until a revised drainage plan is submitted and approved, as specified in this chapter.
C. 
Other inspections. SWM BMPs shall be inspected by the landowner/developer (including the Township for dedicated facilities), according to the following list of frequencies:
(1) 
Annually for the first five years;
(2) 
Once every three years thereafter; and
(3) 
During or immediately after the cessation of a ten-year or greater storm.
D. 
Inspections regarding compliance with the SWM site plan are a responsibility of the Township.
E. 
Inspections should be conducted during or immediately following precipitation events. A written inspection report shall be created to document each inspection. The inspection report shall contain the date and time of the inspection, the individual(s) who completed the inspection, the location of the BMP, facility or structure inspected, observations on performance, and recommendations for improving performance, if applicable. Inspection reports shall be submitted to the Township within 30 days following completion of the inspection.

Upon presentation of proper credentials, Township employees or agents working on behalf of the Township may enter at reasonable times upon any property within the Township to inspect the condition of the stormwater structures and facilities in regard to any aspect regulated by this chapter.
B. 
SWM BMP owners and operators shall allow persons working on behalf of the Township ready access to all parts of the premises for the purpose of determining compliance with this chapter.
C. 
Persons working on behalf of the Township shall have the right to temporarily locate on any BMP in the Township such devices as are necessary to conducting monitoring and/or sampling of the facility's stormwater discharge.
D. 
Unreasonable delays in allowing a representative of the Township access is a violation of this chapter.
