time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. II)]
In accordance with the provisions of the Act, there is hereby
adopted by reference the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA
70) National Electric Code, as amended from time to time, including
Part 8 Rules. Said references to the National Electrical Code, including
Part 8 Rules, shall mean the Michigan Electrical Code.

A complete copy of the Code adopted shall be available for public
use and inspection at the office of the Lapeer City Building Official.
This article shall take effect at 12:01 a.m., October 27, 1983.
