This article shall be known as the Township of "West Pike Run
Supervisors' Compensation Ordinance."
The purpose of this article is to reaffirm a schedule of compensation
for the Supervisors of the Township of West Pike Run.
Each Supervisor of the Township of West Pike Run elected or
appointed to office shall receive compensation for attending duly
advertised general or special public meetings or hearings of the Board
of Supervisors, or other meetings authorized by the Board of Supervisors
at the rate of $25 for the aforesaid, not to exceed $1,875 per year.
Such compensation shall be paid in monthly or quarterly installments.
If any sentence, clause, section or part of this article is
for any reason found to be unconstitutional, illegal, or invalid,
such unconstitutionally, illegality or invalidity shall not affect
or impair any of the remaining provisions, sentences, clauses, sections
or parts of this article. It is hereby declared as the intent of the
Board of Supervisors that this article would have been adopted had
such unconstitutional, illegal or invalid sentence, clause, section
or part thereof not been included herein.
