The Mayor and Council hereby create and reconstitute as a part
of this Code the Highland Park Wellness Committee.
The Mayor, with the advice and consent of Council, shall appoint
annually such number of residents of the Borough of Highland Park
which the governing body deems appropriate to make recommendations
to said governing body for strategies to promote active living, healthy
eating and overall wellness within said Borough.
The Highland Park Wellness Committee shall work strategically
to identify, create and encourage opportunities for increased wellness
for residents of the Borough of Highland Park community. This may
take the form of recommending the implementation of comprehensive
outreach programs, educational programs and technical assistance activities
to combat obesity and inactivity.
