[Amended at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I)]
A.
Any person who violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $5 and not more than $50, plus costs. Provided that it shall be the duty of the police officers and/or of parking enforcement personnel of the Township and/or police officers acting on behalf of the Township to enforce this chapter and to report to the appropriate official all violation of any provision of this article, indicating, in each case, the section violated; the license number of the vehicle involved in the violation; the location where the violation took place; and any other facts that might be necessary in order secure a clear understanding of the circumstances attending the violation. The police officer, enforcement person, or police officer action on behalf of the Township shall also attach to or place upon every such vehicle a notice stating that the vehicle was parked in violation of this article. The notice shall contain instructions to the owner or driver of the vehicle that if he will report to the office of the Township Secretary and pay the sum of $5 within 48 hours after the time of the notice, that act will save the violator from prosecution and from payment of the fine and costs prescribed in the first sentence of this section.
B.
Additionally, any vehicle which is parked in violation of § 394-28 above shall also be subject to the remedies and sanctions contained in the other provisions of this chapter as to removal and impoundment of illegally parked vehicles and therein, additionally, shall be subject to the fines and costs otherwise imposed in this chapter, which shall not be in limitation of the foregoing.
