[HISTORY: Adopted by the Township Committee of the Township
of Winslow 1-2-93 as Ord. No. 0-30-92/93. Amendments noted where applicable.]
An Official Seal of the Township of Winslow is hereby established.
Within a ring of concentric circles, there shall be an imprint designating
the Township of Winslow and its incorporation date of March 8, 1845.
Bisecting the inner circle is a depiction of the Great Egg Harbor
River. A cattail midstream symbolizes the prodigious wetlands habitat
which prevails in and around the river basin. Across the waterway
is a bridge binding the various divergent neighborhoods into a common
boundary. Evergreen trees are highlighted to indicate the Pinelands
affiliation. Below the river, an orchard depicts the proud heritage
of a strong agricultural tradition. A harmonious blend of residential
and commercial growth is characterized by four adjoining structures.
Above the Great Egg Harbor River, the sun emerges from a hillside
showing the promise of a bright future. The corporate seal and logo
are illustrated, as follows:
The custodian of the Official Seal shall be the Municipal Clerk.
