The parking of motor vehicles, vehicle trailers, boat trailers and boats on a front yard is prohibited. The definition of front yard is set forth is set forth in Section 294-10, entitled "Zoning Definitions." This definition is incorporated by reference herein. All parking shall occur on the approved residential driveway or parking area servicing the residence which shall not exceed twenty-five (25) feet in width. Driveways or parking areas less than twenty-five (25) feet can only be widened to the twenty-five (25) foot width by application to and approval of the Township Zoning Board of Adjustment. No parking shall occur within five (5) feet of any property line on the entire property unless it is on an approved driveway or parking area as determined by the Zoning Officer.
The storage of tires in all areas zoned residential is prohibited unless the tires are kept in a fully contained and enclosed structure and limited in number to eight (8).
A. 
Nonresidential properties. The use of temporary outdoor storage units in nonresidential zoning districts shall be subject to and in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Code of the Township of Winslow, including but not limited to Chapter 232, entitled "Site Plan Review."
B. 
Residential properties.
(1) 
Temporary outdoor storage units shall be permitted as an accessory use in all zones subject to the limitations set forth in paragraph (2) of this subsection.
(2) 
Placement and/or use of any temporary outdoor storage unit permitted in accordance with paragraph (1) above shall be allowed subject to the following limitations:
(a) 
The placement of a temporary outdoor storage unit is permitted for temporary use by the occupant of a dwelling only after a permit has been applied for and issued pursuant to Article IV of this chapter;
(b) 
Use of a temporary outdoor storage unit shall not exceed a period of sixty (60) consecutive days in any six (6) month period;
(c) 
Only one (1) temporary outdoor storage unit shall be permitted on a lot;
(d) 
No temporary outdoor storage unit shall be placed upon a lawn or yard and all temporary outdoor storage units permitted in accordance with this chapter shall be placed only in and/or upon areas where a concrete, asphalt, gravel or stone base has been lawfully installed or constructed upon the surface of the ground;
(e) 
No temporary outdoor storage unit shall be placed or located closer than ten (10) feet from any side or rear property line;
(f) 
In the event a temporary outdoor storage unit is placed in a front driveway, it shall be located no closer than ten (10) feet from the right-of-way and shall be placed so as not to obstruct any sidewalk or access;
(g) 
Temporary outdoor storage units shall not be permitted in the street or right-of-way; and
(h) 
It shall be the responsibility of the applicant to promptly remove any temporary outdoor storage unit which has been placed in accordance with the provisions of this chapter immediately upon expiration of the permit issued for same.
A. 
Nonresidential properties. The use of dumpsters or similar refuse containers in nonresidential zoning districts shall be subject to and in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Code of the Township of Winslow, including but not limited to Chapter 232, entitled "Site Plan Review."
B. 
Residential properties.
(1) 
Dumpsters and other similar refuse containers for the collection and disposal of construction trash and debris shall be permitted as an accessory use in all residential zones subject to the limitations set forth in paragraph (2) of this subsection.
(2) 
Placement and/or use of any dumpster or similar refuse container that is permitted in accordance with paragraph (1) of this subsection shall be allowed subject to the following limitations:
(a) 
The placement of a dumpster or similar refuse container for temporary use during construction and/or site work shall be allowed only after a permit has been applied for and issued pursuant to Article IV of this chapter;
(b) 
Use of a dumpster or similar refuse container shall not exceed a period of sixty (60) consecutive days in any six (6) month period;
(c) 
Only one (1) dumpster or similar refuse container shall be permitted on a lot at one time;
(d) 
No dumpster or similar refuse container shall be placed upon a lawn or yard and all dumpsters permitted in accordance with this chapter shall be placed only in and/or upon areas where a concrete, asphalt, gravel or stone base has been lawfully installed or constructed upon the surface of the ground;
(e) 
No dumpster or similar refuse container shall be placed or located closer than ten (10) feet from any side or rear property line;
(f) 
In the event a dumpster or similar refuse container is placed in a front driveway, it shall be located no closer than ten (10) feet from the right-of-way and shall be placed so as not to obstruct any sidewalk or access; and
(g) 
Dumpsters and/or similar refuse containers shall not be permitted in the street or right-of-way; provided, however, where the Building Inspector determines there is no location on a property where the above conditions can be satisfied, the property owner may apply to the Building Inspector for a permit to place a dumpster in the street or right-of-way which permit shall not be issued unless and until the following conditions are first met:
[1] 
The Building Inspector must refer the application to the Police Department and the Police Department, upon review of the application and inspection of the subject property, duly authorizes the placement of a dumpster in the street or right-of-way; and
[2] 
Any dumpster placed in the street or right-of-way in accordance with this Article shall be marked with reflectors and/or other materials approved by the Police Department which materials are designed to alert users of the affected street or right-of-way of the placement and location of the dumpster; and
(h) 
It shall be the responsibility of the applicant to promptly remove any dumpster which has been placed in accordance with the provisions of this chapter immediately upon expiration of the permit issued for same.
