A.
Any person who commits a violation of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, pay a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.), or be imprisoned in the County jail for a term not exceeding thirty (30) days, or both, such fine and imprisonment being at the discretion of the court.
