Wholesale food establishments refer to:
A.
Establishments which manufacture food for sale or which sell food
otherwise than directly to the consumer.
B.
Establishments which manufacture food to be distributed, resold,
repackaged or further processed before direct sale.
C.
Establishments operated in conjunction with one (1) or more retail
stores or outlets located at other premises and where food is manufactured,
held or stored for distribution to such stores or outlets, such as
commissaries.
D.
Establishments which prepare, process or otherwise produce substances
which are used in the manufacture of food, including but not limited
to spices, condiments, additives, flavors, thickeners, aromatics,
preservatives, stabilizers, etc.
E.
Establishments which hold, distribute and resell food or food products
to retail establishments, such as warehouses, depots, etc.

It shall be unlawful for any person, whether as principal or
agent, clerk or employee, either for himself or any other person or
for any body corporate, or as an officer of any corporation or otherwise,
to conduct, manage or operate a wholesale food establishment without
a license first having been approved by the Health Department and
issued by the Township Clerk's Office. The requirement of such a license
does not apply, however, to the manufacture of alcoholic beverages.
Every wholesale food establishment license shall specify the
type of establishment for which it is issued.
There shall be an annual fee of fifty dollars ($50.) for each
license for a wholesale food establishment.
Licenses issued under the provisions of this Article shall expire,
annually, on June 30 of each year. Licenses issued between January
1 and June 30 may be obtained at half the usual fee.
