The reclassification survey and schedules contained therein
and amendments and additions thereto completed by the New Jersey Civil
Service Commission, excluding the proposed salary ranges and provision
for increments, are hereby accepted and made a part of this chapter
and a copy of said reclassification survey and schedules shall be
filed with the City Clerk concurrently with the adoption of this chapter.[1]

Editor's Note: A preamble to this chapter referred to
a reclassification survey of titles, offices, positions, qualifications,
duties and salaries relative to officers and employees of the City
of Perth Amboy completed by the New Jersey Civil Service Commission
and also referred to three schedules submitted with the reclassification
survey.
The proposed salary ranges as amended, excluding the provisions
for increments, are hereby accepted; provided, however, the proposed
salary ranges shall be established by a separate ordinance fixing
and establishing a schedule of salaries and salary ranges and increments
for officers and employees of the City of Perth Amboy, which ordinance
shall include the aforesaid proposed salary ranges and the salaries
for titles, offices and positions not provided in said reclassification
survey and provision for increments where applicable. Said Salary
Ordinance shall be introduced and adopted simultaneously with the
introduction and adoption of this chapter.[1]
