Notwithstanding the right of revocation reserved to the governing
body herein, and in addition to same, it shall be the duty of any
police officer of the Borough of Berlin to require any person peddling,
soliciting, canvassing or hawking and who is not known by such officer
to be duly licensed, to produce his or her peddler's license
and/or to otherwise enforce any of the provisions of this chapter
against any person found to be violating same.
Any person violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions
of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine
of not more than $1,000 or by imprisonment for a term not to exceed
90 days, or both, in the discretion of the court. Each successive
day a violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense hereunder.
