A Township Planning Commission for the East Hanover Township, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, is hereby created and established pursuant to the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, Act 247, 1969, 53 P.S. § 10101 et seq.
The Township Planning Commission shall consist of five members appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The members shall serve for a term of five years, except that the terms of the first members appointed shall be so fixed that one member shall serve for one year, one for two years, one for three years, one for four years, and one for five years. Annually thereafter, a member shall be appointed for a term of five years; by resolution of the Board of Supervisors.
The names and respective terms of office of the first members of the said Commission, which said terms of office shall commence on the effective date of this chapter, are as follows:
A. 
Paul Richard Shuey: one year.
B. 
Leroy Grubb: two years.
C. 
Arthur Miller: three years.
D. 
Jonas Walmer: four years.
E. 
Roy Rhoad: five years.
Any vacancies on the said Commission shall be filled by resolution of the Board of Supervisors, appointing a qualified person to fill the unexpired portion of the term.
This chapter shall be effective on or after the 26th day of May, A.D. 1972.
