[HISTORY: Adopted by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Mount Arlington: Art. I, 7-17-1996 by Ord. No. 96-8. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The Borough Council, as the governing body of the Borough of Mount Arlington, County of Morris, State of New Jersey, hereby proposes that the part of the area within the territorial limits of the Borough of Mount Arlington on the map designated "Musconetcong Sewerage Authority, Morris and Sussex Counties, New Jersey, Wastewater Management Plan Map No. 4, Future Treatment Facilities," prepared by Lee T. Purcell Associates, dated May 1993, revised January 1994, revised February 1995, and revised December 1995, bearing legend or reference to Section 4 of the Sewerage Authority Law of the State of New Jersey (Chapter 138 of the Laws of 1946, as amended and supplemented).[1] and on file in the office of the Borough Clerk of the borough and on file in the office of the Secretary of the Musconetcong Sewerage Authority, said map being incorporated hereinto by this reference, shall be a part of the district of the Musconetcong Sewerage Authority.

One member of the Musconetcong Sewerage Authority shall be appointed hereafter by this Borough Council for a full term of office upon the filing of a certified copy of this article and a certified copy of a resolution of the Musconetcong Sewerage Authority approving this article in the office of the Secretary of State as provided in Section 4 of said Sewerage Authorities Law.[1]

This Borough Council does hereby determine that after the filing of a certified copy of this article, together with a certified copy of the resolution of the Musconetcong Sewerage Authority approving this article, in the office of the Secretary of State of the State of New Jersey, the part of the area within the territorial limits of the borough referred to in § 29-1 hereof shall be a part of the district of the Musconetcong Sewerage Authority.
