Borough of Mount Arlington, NJ Chapter 99 Flood Damage Prevention

§ 99-1 Adoption of code by reference.

The provisions of Title 44 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 59, and more particularly Subpart 60.3 thereof entitled "Flood Plain Management Criteria for Flood-Prone Areas," are hereby adopted by reference.

§ 99-2 Inclusion of text by reference.

Copy of the regulations above described are annexed hereto by reference.

§ 99-3 Copies on file.

Two copies of the rules and regulations adopted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, as above described, have been placed on file in the Office of the Borough Clerk and shall remain on file until final action is taken on this chapter so that the public at large might view and examine the same.

§ 99-4 Flood Insurance Rate Map adopted by reference.

The Borough of Mount Arlington adopts by reference the Flood Insurance Rate Map which is dated October 26, 1979, which map identifies the flood hazard areas within the borough.

§ 99-5 Official designated.

The Borough of Mount Arlington hereby designates the Borough Clerk as the official of the Borough of Mount Arlington responsible for complying with the eligibility requirement set forth in the Paragraph 59.21 et seq.
