The Township authorizes entry into a community energy aggregation
program for residential and nonresidential customers, in accordance
with the provisions of the Government Energy Aggregation Act, N.J.S.A.
48:3-93.1 et seq. and the regulations promulgated thereunder, N.J.A.C.
14:4-6.1 et seq. This authorization is specifically for the provision
of an Option 2 government-private energy aggregation program, pursuant
to N.J.A.C. 14:4-6.4 and 14:4-6.6.
b.Â
The Township hereby authorizes entry into a coalition of municipalities
for the purpose of pooling purchasing and negotiating power for better
energy pricing and improved environmental attributes, and to utilize
the services procured by the lead agency of same, as may be approved
by resolution of the Township Committee.

The Township shall not enter into an electric distribution aggregation
agreement or supplier services agreement unless it is:
