When a fine is assessed for violation of an ordinance, it shall
be within the discretion of the Judge assessing the fine to provide
for the payment of the fine on an installment basis under such terms
and conditions as he/she may deem appropriate.

A.
Standard
costs may be taxed in any case in the Municipal Court according to
the following schedule:
1.
Fifteen dollars ($15.00): For the Court Clerk fee, defraying the
general costs of the operation of the Municipal Court and maintenance
of Court facilities, pursuant to Court Operating Rule 21.01(a)(5).
2.
Seven dollars ($7.00): For the Court Automation Fund Fee, pursuant
to Court Operating Rule 21.01(a)(4) and Section 476.056, RSMo.
3.
Seven dollars and fifty cents ($7.50): A surcharge pursuant to Subsection
(6) of Section 595.045, RSMo., and Section 488.5339.1, RSMo., provided
that no such cost will be collected in any proceeding when the proceeding
or the defendant has been dismissed by the Court.
4.
One dollar ($1.00): For a Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST)
Commission surcharge, pursuant to Section 488.5336.1, RSMo.
5.
Two dollars ($2.00): For a Law Enforcement Training Fund Surcharge
pursuant to Section 488.5336.1, RSMo., and/or Section 590.178, RSMo.
6.
Four dollars ($4.00): A surcharge for the Domestic Violence Shelter
Fund as set forth in Section 488.607, RSMo., provided that such fee
will not be collected when the case or defendant is dismissed or Court
costs are to be paid by the City. Such monies will only be used for
the purpose of providing operating expenses for shelters for battered
persons as defined in Sections 455.200 to 455.230, RSMo.
7.
Two dollars ($2.00): A surcharge for the Inmate Prisoner Detainee
Security Fund as set forth in Section 488.5026, RSMo., provided that
such fee will not be collected when the case or defendant is dismissed
or Court costs are to be paid by the City. The funds generated by
the surcharge will be deposited into the applicable Inmate Prisoner
Detainee Security Fund for use as established in Section 488.5026,
RSMo.
B.
Additional
costs associated with the Municipal Court may be applicable and will
be taxed as follows:
1.
Alcohol- And Drug-Related Traffic Offenses. In addition to any other
penalties and costs provided by law or ordinance, the Court may order
any person convicted of an alcohol- or drug-related traffic offense
to reimburse the City for the costs associated with the arrest of
such person. Such costs shall include the reasonable cost of making
the arrest, including the cost of any chemical test made to determine
the alcohol or drug content of the person's blood, and the costs of
processing, charging, booking and holding such person in custody.
A schedule of such costs may be established by the City Police Department
and filed with the Clerk of the Municipal Court, and the Court may
impose costs in accordance with the schedule; provided that the Court
may order the costs reduced in a case if the Court determines the
costs are excessive.
2.
Copy Fees For Public Records. The Court may assess and collect reasonable
charges for making photocopies of public records requested by the
public or any interested person as provided for in Section 610.026,
RSMo.
