As used in this chapter, the following term shall have the meaning
indicated:
Ay burglary, fire or other alarm causing direct notification
to the West Deptford Township Department of Police through its police
alarm panel, automatic telephone device or similar method of direct
notification caused by inadvertence, negligence, unintentional act
of someone other than an intruder or by malfunctioning of the alarm
device or other relevant equipment.
The Department of Police of the Township of West Deptford shall
investigate the causing of false alarms as described above and keep
a record of the same.

Any person, corporation, partnership or other entity who owns
or controls a fire, burglary or other similar alarm device in the
Township of West Deptford which said device causes more than 12 false
alarms in any given calendar year shall be deemed in violation of
the provisions of this chapter for such 13th false alarm or any subsequent
false alarms in such calendar year.
