City of Weatherford, OK Article 9 Street Department

§ 1-54 STREET DEPARTMENT: CREATED.

A Street Department for the City of Weatherford is hereby created. The head of this department shall be the Street Superintendent appointed for an indefinite term. The department shall function under the supervision and guidance of such Superintendent.

§ 1-55 STREET DEPARTMENT: DUTIES.

It shall be the duty of the Street Department to maintain and improve the streets, and other public ways of the city.

§ 1-56 STREET DEPARTMENT: EMPLOYEES. [1]

The Street Department shall have such employees as may be authorized and funded by the Mayor. All employees shall be under the supervision of the Street Superintendent.
