City of Weatherford, OK Article 11 Sanitation Department

§ 1-60 SANITATION DEPARTMENT: CREATED.

A Sanitation Department for the City of Weatherford is hereby created. The head of this department shall be the Sanitation Superintendent, appointed for an indefinite term. The department shall function under the supervision and guidance of the superintendent.

§ 1-61 SANITATION DEPARTMENT: DUTIES.

It shall be the duty of the Sanitation Department to collect and dispose of all garbage and refuse within the city.

§ 1-62 SANITATION DEPARTMENT: EMPLOYEES. [1]

The Sanitation Department shall have such employees as may be authorized and funded by the Board of Commissioners. All employees shall be under the supervision of the Sanitation Superintendent.
