There is hereby created the Weatherford Pioneer Center Board
of Directors for the City of Weatherford. The Pioneer Center Board
shall be composed of seven members appointed by the Mayor with the
approval of the Weatherford Board of City Commissioners. The term
of office for the members shall be for a period of one year, beginning
July 1 of each year.
The Weatherford Pioneer Center Board of Directors shall act
in an advisory capacity to the Board of City Commissioners, and shall
from time to time make recommendations for the improvement in the
maintenance and operation of the Pioneer Center.
There is hereby created the office of Director, Weatherford
Pioneer Center. The director of the Weatherford Pioneer Center shall
be appointed by the Mayor with approval by the Weatherford Board of
City Commissioners. The qualifications and compensation of the director
and other personnel of the Weatherford Pioneer Center shall be established
by the Weatherford Board of City Commissioners.
The director of the Weatherford Pioneer Center is hereby instructed
and empowered to carry out the operation and maintenance of the Weatherford
Pioneer Center.
