Department established by Ord. No. 5 on 1-2-1911. Amendments noted where applicable.]
A Fire Department shall be organized in the borough by residents
of the borough, for the purpose of providing fire protection.
The company forming said Department shall be known as "Wildwood
Crest Volunteer Fire Company Number One" and be composed of such men,
not less than 10 in number, as may be residents of the borough and
comply with such regulations and requirements as may be adopted upon
the organization of the said Company.
The Board of Commissioners shall provide a suitable place for
the meetings of said Company and the storage of its fire devices and
equipment.
The Board of Commissioners, from time to time, shall provide
for said Company such hose, wagons, trucks, ladders, tools, clothing
and equipment as may be required and seem necessary and within the
requirements of the law relating to such matters.
