All security agencies, armed and unarmed, licensed by the Council
on Law Enforcement Education and Training, and private investigators,
shall be required to register with the Police Department of the City
in which said security agency and private investigators conduct business.
The security agency and private investigators by telephone, or in
person, shall contact the Chief of Police or his designated agent,
or the City Clerk, and shall provide said party with the following
information:
a.Â
The guard's employing company;
b.Â
Whether working a fixed post or roving patrol;
c.Â
If working a fixed post, the location of the post;
d.Â
Whether working unarmed or armed; and
e.Â
Whether working in uniform or plain-clothes.
The security agency shall be required to notify within 72 hours
the City of any changes in the above information.

The security agency, or guard, or private investigator shall not
be required to pay any fee to re-register with the City.

The City will maintain a registry of the guards, and private investigators,
which will be open for inspection by officers of the Council on Law
Enforcement Education and Training. Further, each City shall notify
the Council of any security agency who fails to comply with these
provisions.

This registration requirement is the sole responsibility of the employing
agency and all information is proprietary.

All lawn sprayers, exterminators, and roofers licensed by the state
shall be required to register with the City before conducting any
business in the City.

The business wishing to conduct business in the City of Weatherford,
by telephone or in person shall contact the City Administrator or
his designated agent, and shall provide said party with the following
information:

Performance bonds are required to be posted by the business. The
amount of these bonds required are established by resolution of the
Weatherford City Commission.
