The authority and responsibility for publicizing, administering and enforcing this chapter shall be in the Town's Code Enforcement Officer.
Violations of this chapter shall be reported, in person or in writing, to the Town's Code Enforcement Officer.
Where sufficient cause exists to believe that the terms of this chapter have been violated, the Code Enforcement Officer, pursuant to Municipal Home Rule Law § 10, Subdivision 4(a), is authorized to issue an appearance ticket directing the alleged violator to appear in a designated local criminal court at a designated future time in connection with the alleged and designated offense.
A. 
Where a person or organization has been found, after a trial on the merits, in violation of this chapter, a fine shall be imposed on such person or organization not to exceed $250. Each offense shall be a separate and distinct offense, and, in the case of a continuing offense, each day's continuance thereof shall be deemed a separate and distinct offense. The criminal penalties provided by this section shall be recoverable in an action prosecuted in the name of the People of the State of New York.
B. 
In addition to the foregoing remedies, an action or proceeding in the name of the Town of Milo may be commenced in any court of competent jurisdiction to compel compliance with or restrain violation of this chapter or orders issued in compliance with this chapter.
