Editor’s Note: Former Ch. 43, Plumbing Code, adopted 2-1-1960 by the Board of Health, as amended, was superseded by the enactment of the State Uniform Construction Code Act (c. 217, P.L. 1975) and the promulgation of the state building subcode pursuant to that Act. There is hereby created the position of Purchasing Agent for
the Borough of Wenonah to be appointed by the Borough Council.
The Purchasing Agent shall possess a valid qualified purchasing
agent certificate, as issued by the New Jersey Division of Local Government
Services, Department of Community Affairs.
The Purchasing Agent shall have the authority, responsibility
and accountability for the purchasing activity pursuant to Local Public
Contracts Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-2 et seq.); to prepare public advertising
for and to receive bids, quotes and requests for proposals for the
provision or performance of goods, services and construction contracts;
to award contracts where the cost of the price of the contract in
the aggregate does not exceed the threshold applicable in any year
for public advertising for bids for municipalities that have appointed
a Qualified Purchasing Agent, in accordance with the regulations,
forms and procedures promulgated by state regulatory agencies; and
conduct any activities as may be necessary or appropriate to the purchasing
function of the Borough.
