A penalty in the amount of $20 be and hereby is established
for any check paid to the Borough of Wenonah or any department or
agency thereof, which is returned for nonsufficient funds.
Said penalty shall be payable immediately upon notification
by the borough that the check was returned for nonsufficient funds.
If not paid immediately, the penalty will be added, where applicable,
to the property tax lien or water or sewer lien against the property
of the issuer of the check which was returned for nonsufficient funds.
That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
final passage and publication as required by law.
