Borough of Woodbury Heights, NJ Chapter 54 Fingerprinting

§ 54-1 Fees.

The Police Department of the Borough of Woodbury Heights be and is hereby authorized to impose a fee in the sum of $15 for fingerprinting of any one person with the exception of:

A. Any child under the age of 18 years;

B. Any resident senior citizen of 65 years or greater.

§ 54-2 Findings.

It is found, determined and declared as follows:

A. The Police Department of the Borough of Woodbury Heights has been called upon on numerous occasions for fingerprinting of persons for a variety of purposes.

B. The time and expense of this procedure is prohibitive to the personnel of the Police Department of the Borough of Woodbury Heights, therefore, a fee must be assessed to those persons requesting the fingerprinting.

§ 54-3 Exceptions.

Specifically excepted from this chapter are resident senior citizens over the age of 65 and any child under the age of 18 years of age.

§ 54-4 Disposition of fees.

Any fees charged and collected for this service as rendered by the Police Department of the Borough of Woodbury Heights shall be paid into the general account of the borough treasury.
