A.Â
No
person shall be appointed to serve any term or portion thereof on
any board or committee of the City of Malden, who shall, at the time
of his or her appointment be indebted to the City for any tax lien,
forfeiture, defalcation in office or is more than thirty (30) days
delinquent for any City-provided utility bill.
B.Â
No
person indebted to the City for any tax lien, forfeiture, defalcation
in office or who is more than thirty (30) days delinquent for any
City-provided utility bill shall continue serving on any board or
committee of the City of Malden following the expiration of the term
for which he or she is appointed unless he or she shall satisfy his
or her indebtedness prior to the expiration of his or her term.
C.Â
No
person serving any term or portion thereof on any board or committee
of the City of Malden, who shall become indebted to the City for any
tax lien or who becomes more than thirty (30) days delinquent for
any City-provided utility bill may be removed from said Board or Committee
solely for that reason during such term, however, such person shall
not continue to serve on or be reappointed to such board or committee
following the expiration of his or her term unless he or she shall
have satisfied the indebtedness prior to the expiration of such term.
