Any person who violates or permits the violation of any provision
of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof in a summary proceeding
brought before a Magisterial District Judge under the Pennsylvania
Rules of Criminal Procedure, be guilty of a summary offense, and shall
be subject to a fine of not more than $600, plus costs of prosecution.
In default of payment thereof, the defendant may be sentenced to imprisonment
for a term of not more than 30 days. The continuation of such violation
for each successive day shall constitute a separate offense, and the
person or persons allowing or permitting the continuation of a violation
may be punished as provided above for each separate offense. All fines
and penalties collected for violation of this chapter shall be paid
to the Township Treasurer.
