It shall be unlawful to violate any provisions of this chapter.
It shall be the duty of the Chief of Police or Chief Building Official
to examine all places of business and persons subject to the provisions
of this chapter and to enforce the provisions herein against any person
found to be violating the same.
Unless otherwise specified in this chapter, article or section,
any person violating any provisions of this chapter shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor. The penalty for such violation shall be a
fine in any sum not exceeding $500 or imprisonment for six months,
or both said fine and imprisonment. Each day or part thereof in which
a violation under this chapter continues shall be a separate offense.
