A. 
An appeal from the determination made by the Floodplain Administrator shall be made in writing. The appeal shall provide sufficient detail to permit an understanding of the determination appealed from and the grounds for the appeal. The Floodplain Administrator shall review the request for administrative completeness, including the payment of the required administrative fee; the request shall not be processed until it is determined to be administratively complete.
B. 
The Zoning Hearing Board of Mount Joy Township shall consider the appeal no later than 60 days from the date of submission of an administratively complete application.
C. 
The Township shall provide written notice to the applicant of the time and place at which the request will be considered.
D. 
In the event the appeal is granted, the Township shall notify the applicant in writing, stating the specific relief granted.
An appeal from the Zoning Hearing Board's written decision on the application for variance is governed by the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.[1]
