[HISTORY: Adopted by the Common Council of
the City of Lodi as § 2.01 of the City Code. Amendments

The Common Council shall annually, at the first
regular meeting after the organizational meeting, certify by resolution
the then-existing legal description of the total boundaries of the
City, which resolution shall be kept on file at the Clerk's office.
Changes in boundaries and annexations shall be reported by the Clerk
to the Secretary of State as required by § 66.0217(9), Wis.
Stats.
The Council may from time to time direct a survey
of its present boundaries to be made which may be filed in the office
of the Register of Deeds for Columbia County, Wisconsin, pursuant
to § 66.0217(9), Wis. Stats.
