[Adopted 3-17-1978 (Ch. 25, Art.
XXXII, of the 1974 Code)]
There is hereby created the position of Fire
Subcode Official in the Township of Lacey.
The duties of said Fire Subcode Official shall
be to administer and enforce the fire prevention subcode of the State
Uniform Construction Code and, pursuant to said fire construction
subcode, to pass upon matters relative to the mode and manner of construction
or the materials to be used in the erection or alteration of buildings
or structures, except as to any such matter foreclosed by state approval
pursuant to the State Uniform Construction Code Act,[1] and to pass upon the actual execution of the approved
plans and the installation of the materials approved by the state.

The Fire Subcode Official of the Township of
Lacey shall receive compensation as determined from time to time by
the Township Committee and shall be paid in accordance with the provisions
of the Salary Ordinance of the Township of Lacey.[1]
