[Adopted 8-24-1989 as Ord. No. 39-89 (Ch. 25, Art. LXXIII, of the 1974 Code)]
There is hereby created the position of Account Clerk for the Chief Financial Officer's office for the Township of Lacey.
The Account Clerk, under direction, shall perform routine, repetitive, noncomplex clerical work of a varied nature in the keeping of financial and/or other records of a mathematical nature and related work as required.
To be appointed to the position of Account Clerk, an individual must meet the following requirements:
A. 
Possess formal and other education and training showing attainment of the level represented by graduation from high school.
B. 
Possess knowledge of modern office methods, practices and equipment and have the knowledge and ability to perform routine repetitive and noncomplex tasks involved in the keeping of financial and other records of a mathematical nature.
C. 
Possess the ability to understand, remember and carry out oral and written directions from supervisors.
D. 
Possess good health and freedom from disabling physical and mental defects.
E. 
Possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language sufficiently to perform the duties of the position.
The salary for the Account Clerk shall be determined from time to time by the Township Committee and shall be paid in accordance with the provisions of the Salary Ordinance of the Township of Lacey.[1]
