[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Carmel 9-20-2000 by L.L. No. 3-2000. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The purpose of this chapter is to authorize, under § 150.10 of the Criminal Procedure Law of the State of New York, certain public servants of the Town of Carmel to issue and serve appearance tickets in connection with violations of New York State statutes and/or rules and regulations as well as the Town Code, local laws, ordinances and/or rules and regulations of the Town of Carmel which the employees are authorized or required to enforce.
The following public servants of the Town of Carmel are hereby authorized to issue and serve an appearance ticket with respect to violations of New York State statutes and/or rules and regulations as well as the Town Code, local laws, ordinances and/or rules and regulations of the Town of Carmel which the employees are authorized or required to enforce:
A. 
Director of Codes Enforcement/Building Inspector.
B. 
Deputy Building Inspector.
C. 
Zoning Enforcement Officer.
D. 
Codes Enforcement Officer.
E. 
Wetland Inspector.
F. 
Property Compliance Officer.

Appearance tickets issued by the above public servants shall be served personally.
