This chapter shall constitute and be known and cited as the "Plumbing
Code of the City of Hudson."
No plumbing or drainage in the City of Hudson shall be performed by
any person, firm, association or corporation except a registered master plumber,
and all such plumbing and drainage shall be executed in strict compliance
with the provisions of this chapter.
All plumbing and drainage outside the territorial boundaries of the
City which is connected or which is intended to be connected with the City
of Hudson water supply and/or sewerage system shall be executed in strict
compliance with the provisions of this chapter. It shall not be performed
by any person, firm, association or corporation except a master plumber holding
a certificate of competency issued by the Examining Board of Plumbers of the
City of Hudson.
No department, officer or employee of the City having charge of jurisdiction
of the City's water mains and/or sewers, either within or without the territorial
limits of the City, shall issue a license to any person, firm, association
or corporation unless such person, firm, association or corporation is the
holder of a certificate of competency issued by the Examining Board of Plumbers
of the City of Hudson and, if the connection is to be made within the territorial
limits of the City, is a master plumber.
