It shall be unlawful for any person to operate, conduct or maintain any premises where skeet, trap shooting or target practice may be engaged in unless a license is obtained therefor. Applicants for a license shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 234, Licensing, in addition to the provisions herein.

A license fee of $50 shall be paid for each license. No license fee shall be required for premises where shooting is occasional and rare or conducted by a nonprofit organization, provided the licensee complies with regulations now or hereafter established.
The premises to be used for skeet, trap shooting or target practice shall be approved by the Chief of Police as to its suitability, location and fitness for such use.
