Editor's Note: Pursuant to L.L. No 1-1976, which established
the Code, the provisions of this chapter were originally designated as Ch.
11.
The following officials, officers, employees and personnel of the Incorporated
Village of Bellerose shall have the power to issue and to serve, within the
Incorporated Village of Bellerose, summonses in cases arising in connection
with the violation of the provisions of the Code of the Incorporated Village
of Bellerose and in cases arising in connection with the violation of the
various ordinances, resolutions, orders, local laws and rules and regulations
regularly adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of
Bellerose:
A.
A Building Inspector or Deputy Building Inspector of
the Incorporated Village of Bellerose.
B.
A Fire Inspector or Deputy Fire Inspector of the Incorporated
Village of Bellerose.
C.
Any commissioner, member of the Board of Trustees, official,
officer, Code Enforcement Officer or other full-time or part-time employee
authorized by resolution of the Board of Trustees.

Such issuance and service of a summons shall have the same force and
effect as if it had been issued and served by a peace officer, without its
being issued and served by a peace officer.
A summons issued and served pursuant to this chapter shall be returnable
in the Justice Court of the Incorporated Village of Bellerose and shall be
substantially in the following form:
