The following described places are hereby established as public parking areas intended to provide opportunities to park vehicles and boat trailers in a manner convenient to the launching and landing of permitted watercraft into tidal waters:
A. 
Ox Pasture Road (Penny Landing) parking area. The area hereinafter described is hereby established as a public parking area of the Village of Southampton for which a special permit is required:
That area within the right-of-way on both sides of Ox Pasture Road westerly of a point 800 feet westerly of the intersection of Lee Avenue, as measured on the southerly side of Ox Pasture Road, to the pavement limit at Heady Creek.
B. 
Boatman's Lane parking area. The area hereinafter described is hereby established as a public parking area of the Village of Southampton for which a special permit is required:
That area within the right-of-way of Boatman's Lane westerly of a point 400 feet westerly of the intersection of Halsey Neck Lane on the north side of Boatman's Lane, and 335 feet westerly of Halsey Neck Lane on the south side of Boatman's Lane, to the pavement limit at Taylor Creek.
C. 
Road A parking area. The area hereinafter described is hereby established as a public parking area of the Village of Southampton for which a special permit is required:
The entire length of both sides of Road A north of its intersection with Meadow Lane, to the mean high water line of Shinnecock Bay.
D. 
Road D parking area. The area hereinafter described is hereby established as a public parking area of the Village of Southampton for which a special permit is required:
That area within the right-of-way on both sides of Road D north of a point 125 feet north of its intersection with Meadow Lane, to the pavement limit at Shinnecock Bay.
E. 
Meadow Lane parking area. The area hereinafter described is hereby established as a public parking area of the Village of Southampton for which a special permit is required:
That area along the westerly line of SCTM tax parcel 904-21-1-6.2, having a width of 20 feet, to a point 100 feet northerly of Meadow Lane.
A. 
No person shall park or stand any motor vehicle in or upon the parking areas described in § 86-20 above at any time unless there shall be displayed on said motor vehicle a valid permit issued pursuant to any of the following provisions:
(1) 
A permit issued pursuant to § 86-3, 86-7 or 86-18 of this chapter.
(2) 
A permit issued pursuant to § 111-4 or 312-54B of the Town Code of the Town of Southampton.
(3) 
A permit (ramp sticker) issued pursuant to § 111-14C or 312-54C of the Town Code of the Town of Southampton.
B. 
It is the intent of this section that parking or standing of motor vehicles in or upon said bay access parking areas shall be limited to motor vehicles for which a valid permit has been issued pursuant to any of the above-referenced provisions. No parking in or upon the parking areas described in § 86-20, from 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m., year-round.

A. 
This article has been enacted to regulate parking in areas previously used for parking without regulation, including unimproved areas. By regulating such areas, the Village of Southampton does not undertake or assume any obligation to improve such areas or to maintain such areas in safe condition for parking. Any person who parks or stands any motor vehicle in or upon the parking areas described in § 86-20 above or who otherwise enters upon said parking areas shall assume all risk of personal injury and property damage resulting from the condition of said parking areas.
B. 
The Village Board of Trustees may hereafter adopt by resolution rules and regulations with respect to parking in bay access parking areas. A violation of such rules and regulations shall constitute a violation of this article.

A. 
Any person who violates this article or fails to comply with any of its requirements shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalties provided in Article II of Chapter 1 of the Code of the Village of Southampton.

C. 
In addition thereto, the Village police may cause any vehicle which is parked in violation of this article to be removed to a suitable place, and the expenses of such removal (the cost of such removal may be fixed by resolution of the Board of Trustees from time to time), together with reasonable charges for storage, shall be paid by the owner or operator of such vehicle.
