A.
Any car, truck or other vehicle that does not have
a handicapped parking permit or disabled license plate and which stops,
stands or parks in a handicapped parking space shall be in violation
of this section of the Code of the Village of Southampton.
B.
Any car, truck or other vehicle that either has or
does not have a handicapped parking permit and parks in or blocks
the access aisle of a handicapped parking space shall be in violation
of this section of the Code of the Village of Southampton.
C.
Any car, truck or other vehicle that either has or
does not have a handicapped parking permit and blocks the curb cut
near a handicapped parking space shall be in violation of this section
of the Code of the Village of Southampton.
D.
Handicapped parking spaces shall be designated as
"Special Restricted Parking" and shall have a three-hour time limit.
E.
Any violation of this section shall constitute an
offense subject to a penalty of a fine of $250 plus a court-imposed
surcharge of which funds shall be deposited into the Handicapped Parking
Educational Fund.
